About us
Who we are
Are you annoyed by banging, rattling, buzzing, noise in your environment? We know how noise can be reduced or, at best, disappear. As a service provider with professional competence and many years of experience, we deal with very specific tasks. How can room acoustics be improved in an existing space? How can noise and reflections be eliminated? What should be considered in the room design to avoid reverberation, for example?
We answer these questions with individual solutions – starting with consulting, through planning, to execution. This may include the preparation of acoustic surveys. As part of a grown network of specialists, the company Hoppe-Akustik is a nationwide valued contact for intelligent and effective solutions for all questions of acoustics.
For whom we have worked
None of our projects can be transferred 1:1 to other challenges. The many influencing factors that can determine an acoustic situation require customized solutions. To help you understand this, here are some examples:
- “Potsdamer Platz Regional Station”
Planning and implementation of an acoustic system - MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG in Salzgitter
Design and reduction of sound reflection surfaces on the outer hall wall of a trapezoidal steel structure. - Klausner Holz Thuringia GmbH
Sound optimization through planning and reconstruction of the log feed bunker
What we do
- Acoustic planning and engineering
- Project management/project control of acoustic projects
- OEM solutions development
- Development and testing of acoustic solutions
- Construction and installation supervision of acoustic projects
- Trainings
- Assessments of acoustic systems
- Further education and lectures
Professional career
From 1990 to 1995, I studied civil engineering with a focus on building physics and building materials technology at the Bauhaus University in Weimar.
Subsequently, I worked for E. Heitkamp GmbH in Herne from 1995 to 1998. There I advised construction managers, worked in construction and dealt with building physics and materials.
From 1998 to 2005 I was employed by Liaver GmbH in Ilmenau. During this time, I was involved in the development, application engineering and sales of expanded glass-based acoustic systems.
From 1999 to 2000 I worked at the Fraunhofer Institute IBP in Stuttgart on the development of the REAPOR system including the production technology.
From 2005 to 2008, I worked for Henkel AG & Co. KGaA in Düsseldorf as a project manager for acoustics, application technology and sales.
In 2008, I was project manager for research and development of recycled glass systems at Pinta acoustic GmbH in Maisach.
Since 2009 I run my own engineering office Hoppe-Akustik.
